Wilkes-Barre Area High School Project
The Wilkes-Barre Area School District is building a new 4,000-square-foot high school on 22 acres of old coal mining land in Plains Township, Luzerne County. The Department and the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation reviewed the site for environmental purposes.
