Swiftwater Solar is a planned solar farm by Apex Clean Energy of Charlottesville, VA that consists of an 80-megawat facility that is expected to generate enough energy to power over 14,000 homes per year. The solar farm will be built on 644-acres of land in Pocono Township, the project itself will encompass 476-acres. A National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) permit has been issued by the department for construction purposes related to the project.
