Overview

Pennsylvania’s Nonpoint Source (NPS) Management Program utilizes both the Growing Greener state funding source as well as the Section 319 federal funding source to direct watershed based restoration efforts throughout the commonwealth. Partners benefiting from participation in these grant programs are required to request reimbursement for work performed on a quarterly basis. If you are a grantee and you are searching for current Application for Reimbursement forms, follow the link to the Water Resource Planning folder in DEP’s eLibrary or click on the appropriate link below.

Recipients of a Growing Greener grant to include AMD-set aside, should use the forms listed below. These forms and other Growing Greener related information can be found on DEP's Growing Greener website.

Requesting Reimbursement

To ensure an efficient use of both state and federal funding, participating partners are required to submit reimbursement requests on a quarterly basis. A complete reimbursement request, known as an “AFR Packet” typically consists of: an application for reimbursement (AFR), an application for reimbursement supplemental sheet (AFR-S), a quarterly report or project status report (QR), and supporting documentation such as invoices and receipts to support the reimbursement request. The program specific AFR, AFR-S, and QR are detailed above. The standard reporting schedule for Growing Greener, Section 319, Watershed Specialist and other such grant programs is detailed in the table below:
