On January 8, 2018, DEP entered into a Consent Order and Agreement (COA) with ABB Inc. and Cecil Township to remediate the former C.E. Cast property in Cecil Township. This COA also serves as a Buyer-Seller Agreement for the property.
The COA/Buyer-Seller Agreement references and incorporates several environmental investigation reports* provided to DEP.
*The website contains scanned versions of the text of these reports. Some of the reports are very large so the full report with appendices was not able to be scanned. The entire reports can be viewed by scheduling a file review.
On February 7, 2018, DEP received a Notice of Intent to Remediate (NIR) the property per the January 8, 2018 agreement.
