Take I-79 South to I-279 South. (You exit to the left off I-79.)
Follow Interstate 279 South to Pittsburgh:
BEAR RIGHT onto RAMP to EAST ST
TURN LEFT onto EAST ST or HWY 28 (NORTH-EAST)
Make Right onto CHESTNUT/16th STREET
Left onto PROGRESS STREET at Stop Light
Right onto HEINZ STREET

Up RIVER AVENUE to 30th ST BRIDGE at first stop light.

As you exit the tunnels get into the FAR LEFT lane and cross the bridge
As soon as you merge get to the FAR RIGHT lane as road goes into I 279 (EAST)
Immediately BEAR RIGHT onto exit 7C RAMP to HWY 28 (NORTH-EAST)
IMMEDIATELY get into Right Hand lane and take CHESTNUT STREET Exit off 28
Make Right onto CHESTNUT/16th STREET
Left onto PROGRESS STREET at Stop Light

At exit 1A, take Ramp (RIGHT) onto Fort Pitt Blvd for 0.2 mi towards I-279 N / North Side / Three Rivers Stadium
Take Ramp onto I-279 for 0.8 mi towards I-279
At exit 7C, RAMP to HWY 28 (NORTH-EAST)
IMMEDIATELY get into Right Hand lane and take CHESTNUT STREET Exit off 28
Make Right onto CHESTNUT/16th STREET

Port Authority Transit System (PAT bus) is a publicly owned mass transit system operated by Port Authority of Allegheny County. Fares vary within a five-zone system extending in all directions from downtown to the outer suburbs.
Basic fare is $1.25. Exact change is required. Transfers can be purchase for a quarter, and can be used for one connection in any direction within three hours of the time of purchase; pay as you enter on inbound trips toward downtown Pittsburgh, pay as you exit on outbound trips before 7:00 p.m. After 7:00 p.m., pay as you enter on all trips.
