Champion Processing

Champion Processing, Inc. has applied to DEP for applicability under a Waste Management General Permit for Beneficial Reuse of Stabilized Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) Gypsum Material for site reclamation at the Champion Coal Refuse Disposal Site in Robinson Township, Washington County.

Champion Processing, Inc. submitted General Permit Application No. WMGR052SW001 for a determination of applicability under General Permit No. WMGR052 to process material which complies with the permit requirements for chemical and physical properties and beneficially use the processed material at the Champion Refuse Disposal Site.

DEP is currently accepting comments on Champion Processing's application. Written comments concerning the application should be directed to Chris Solloway, General Permits/Beneficial Use Section, Division of Municipal and Residual Waste, Bureau of Waste Management, P. O. When submitting comment via e-mail, place ''Comments on WMGR052SW001'' in the subject line. All comments must include the originator's name and address. Faxed comments will not be accepted.
