Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence 2013 Winners
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is now accepting applications for the 2013 Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence. The guidelines and application are provided below. This year's winners will be recognized for their successes at a dinner at the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013.
The Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence is open to any Pennsylvania businesses, farms, government agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and individuals that have created, or participated in, the development of a project that promotes environmental stewardship and economic development in the state. To be eligible for consideration, projects must have been completed between August 1, 2011 and July 31, 2012.
Please send all completed applications to RA-EPgovenviroawards@pa.gov no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 31th, 2013 for consideration.
