Funding Opportunities

Government Funding Opportunities

Below are highlighted some funding opportunities that may be helpful for Environmental Justice community projects. You can always contact your regional coordinator with project ideas to help brainstorm funding options.

DEP Funding

The Department of Environmental Protection grants page has all of the agency funding sources listed and also states what is currently open at the bottom of the page.

Many grant programs consider environmental justice in their grant applications. Contact the EJ coordinator in your region to get assistance in understanding the EJ Policy and discuss your project. There are short videos to provide an overview on environmental justice, an overview on the EJ Policy, an overview on the PennEnviroScreen tool, and a tutorial on using the PennEnviroScreen tool. You can also view the slide presentation - EJ Environmental Justice Overview & Environmental Justice Policy Implementation.

Other Pennsylvania Agency Funding
