eBx Licensure and Fee Schedule

Electronic Brachytherapy (eBxTM) is a method of intra-operative radiation therapy where by an electrically generated source of ionizing radiation is placed in or near the tumor or target tissue to deliver therapeutic radiation dosage.

A person who intends to purchase, construct or acquire an electronic brachytherapy unit shall notify the department of this intent by applying for a specific license within 30 days after the initial order is issued.
